General: Operation and maintenance of Crude oil and Gas Fiscal Metering Skids.
• Technical Inspection:
o Daily Technical Monitoring of the custody metering system and analytical laboratory equipment;
o Technical monitoring while performing the proving and calibration works;
o Technical monitoring while performing the maintenance and repair works;
• Re-verification and re-calibration works of the Custody Metering System:
o All the Proving and recalibration works shall be performed as per requirement of relevant API MPMS standards for measurement of Hydrocarbon fluids, ASTM standards and recommendations of manufactures of equipment;
• Duty flow meters re-verification (Crude Oil and Treated Dry Gas metering System):
o The “duty” meter shall be compared with the “master” meter at a frequency agreed with the client, There are 3 methods for re-verification which are: 1) The use of master meter (normal operation) 2) Comparison of the meter with a pipe prover, 3) removal of the meter for calibration at a recognized test facility;
• Master Meter Periodical Recalibration (Crude Oil and Treated Gas Metering):
o To guard against the possible “drift” of both “master” and “duty” meters, the master meter shall be periodically recalibrated as a complete working unit – combined spools and internals, along with any dedicated interface electronics as required. Using the stationary Bi-Directional Prover for recalibration of the master meter and duty meters;
• Prover Periodical recalibration (Crude Oil metering system):
o In accordance with Iraqi National Code for Measurement of Hydrocarbon Fluids, stationary prover shall be calibrated by water draw calibration method described in API MPMS standards as part of system checks on site;
o Inspection of all critical valves and instrumentation along with the sphere, checking of sphere size, sphericity, etc…shall take place prior to calibration. After calibration the sphere detectors and all vents and drains shall be sealed;
• Weigh Bridge Periodical Recalibration (LPG metering system):
o Providing the maintenance (including periodical recalibration) of two Weigh Bridges as per requirements of manufacturers and relevant API, IP, ISO standards;
• Recalibration and maintenance of Field Instrumentation and Online oil/gas analysers such as GC_ Model 500 Gas Chromatograph, RSH_ 700XA Gas Chromatograph, HCDP, CO2, Moisture, H2S, Reid Vapor Pressure, Total Sulfur, Salt in Crude, Pour Point:
o Recalibration of Instrumentation (pressure, temperature transmitter and gauges, on-line quality analysers) should be performed as per recommendations of manufactures of equipment and instrumentation and Iraqi National Code for Measurement of Hydrocarbon Fluids.
As well as:
• Active participation in the commissioning and startup activities of phase-II of Gas plant. Troubleshooting and Punch list identification, verification and clearance.
